A "grateful" President Hart congratulates TUJ students and staff at graduation
Asahi Shimbun, the daily newspaper with the second largest circulation in Japan, covered Temple President Ann Weaver Hart's visit to Japan to attend graduation at Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ). Hart insisted on attending in order to acknowledge the resilience of TUJ's students, faculty and staff and to communicate Temple's commitment to supporting TUJ and the people of Japan. "We will be incorporating the events after the earthquake into Asian and Japanese studies courses and research," Hart said.
