A research team led by Ram Mudambi of Temple's Fox School of Business analyzed patents in the U.S. from 1975 to 2010 in order to uncover innovation trends. They found that Philadelphia has reason to be proud: It outpaces the nation as a whole in terms of innovation connectedness.
