Scientists re-install seismometer at Temple Ambler

A seismometer at Temple University's Ambler Campus approximately 20 miles north of Philadelphia was part of a network of monitoring equipment that recorded the Aug. 23 earthquake with an epicenter in Virginia.

The seismometer, which was purchased by the College of Science and Technology and looks like a miniature R2-D2 from <em>Star Wars</em>, was installed in the wooded area east of the Loop Road, behind the student resident parking area.
