The School of Media and Communication has established a scholarship honoring radio legend E. Steven Collins, director of urban marketing and external relations at Radio One and host of the weekly show, “Philly Speaks,” who died suddently on Sept. 9. Collins was to return to campus Oct. 17 to receive a 2013 Lew Klein Alumni in the Media award. His life and work will be honored during the ceremony, at which he will be inducted into the SMC Hall of Fame.
