University community invited to complete Community Service Inventory
A new initiative is under way to quantify the vast community service and outreach that Temple University provides locally, nationally and around the world. This initiative, the Temple Community Service Inventory, will be conducted over the next several weeks. Your cooperation will help in gathering all of the volunteer efforts and capturing the true impact of these services. Each day, Temple’s faculty, students and staff are making a difference — from right in our backyard to throughout the city, the state and international regions. The Community Service Inventory will detail all of these significant contributions — from the work in Philadelphia-area schools, to healthcare screenings, to student-driven service projects that benefit our neighbors. In addition, the university will also inventory the numerous boards, commissions and agencies on which Temple faculty, staff and students serve in their spare time. The Temple Community Service Inventory survey can be completed in less than 10 minutes. A link to the survey can be found below. The goal is to receive all completed surveys by Friday, May 2. The results will be compiled and released in an annual report that will be shared with the Temple community. Thank you for your help. Your involvement in the Temple Community Service Inventory is key to its success. The Temple Community Service Inventory survey can be found at https://survey.temple.edu/community.
