Sanat Sarkar, a professor of statistics at the Fox School of Business and Management, has been elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He will be presented with this award at the IMS Annual Meeting during the Joint Scientific Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, held July 29-Aug. 2. Sarkar already is a fellow of the American Statistical Association.
