Beasley School of Law dean appointment
To the Temple community,
It is with excitement that I share the news that following a national search, Rachel Rebouché has been appointed dean of the Beasley School of Law. Rachel has held the role in an interim capacity since August 2021.
One of the nation’s leading reproductive law scholars and an expert in feminist legal theory and family law, Rachel previously served as the law school’s associate dean for research. She frequently lends her scholarship and expertise to mainstream media outlets and is regularly cited as an expert in high-level publications like The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic and many more.
I invite you to learn more about Rachel in this news story announcing her appointment. Under her vision, the university is eager to see the law school continue to grow in its commitment to excellence in access, teaching, learning, scholarship and service.
Please join me in welcoming Rachel to her new role.
Sincerely,
Gregory Mandel
Provost
