It is move-in day for Temple’s newest Owls. The North Philadelphia university will welcome more than 7,000 new undergraduates this fall. That includes nearly 4,300 freshmen. Many new college students are turning to RoomBug to find a roommate. The Facebook app allows you to find your own roommate by comparing things like lifestyle preferences and study habits, instead of being randomly matched.

5,000 Temple University freshmen are moving into their dorm rooms today and tomorrow. The newest Temple owls were hauling bedding, big screen TVs and stuffed animals. Carolyn Hardy of Holland in Bucks County scored a room that she says was a pleasant surprise. "It's really big and has a lot of room." Upperclassmen living on campus move in later in the week.
