Law prof describes Chris Matthews' Commencement advice to grads
Jan Ting, a professor in Temple's Beasley School of Law, described Temple's 124th Commencement Exercises, from Boyer College of Music and Dance faculty member Terell Stafford's "inspired and magical" trumpet performance to honorary degree recipient Chris Matthews' five tips for success after graduation. "To insure that these five points of advice are not forgotten like most commencement speeches, Matthews provided graduates with a 'tchotchke of value' in the form of a plasticized card with the five points printed on them! Great souvenir of a memorable graduation."
