Those hoping for a cure to the common cold might have to wait, but instead of waiting on the couch, hit the gym. A new study finds that people who perform aerobic exercise three times a week will get fewer colds with milder symptoms. Paul Lyons of Temple's School of Medicine says your immune system gets a boost when you move: "The effects of exercise persist beyond the time you are exercising. So if you ride a stationary bike for 30 minutes, it will be several hours before the effects wear off."
