Temple University plans to announce Wednesday that it has received a $1.2 million gift from the Kal and Lucille Rudman Foundation to create a production center for its new cable-television station, TUTV. The new station housed in Annenberg Hall will debut in the fall on a still-undetermined cable channel. It will air student films and news shows, and showcase student artwork and musical pieces, said Paul Gluck, an associate professor and general manager of the new center and station. "We want to be a gallery for some of the great work done here by students," Gluck said, adding that the station will become a pathway to educating the public on the value of a Temple education.
