So much of our lives revolve around STEM — sciences, technology, engineering and math — yet fewer Americans are entering these fields. Jamie Bracey, director of STEM education in Temple's College of Engineering, says "the conference is primarily open too small and mid-sized businesses looking for opportunities to plug into STEM contracts within the region" There's a common push on employment and education so that firms with jobs to fill have skilled people to fill them and those with the skills can get jobs.
