Volunteers spend their Sunday serving the community

On a sunny Sunday morning, when most kids are in front of cartoons, thousands of volunteers, including several Temple students, fanned out to build playgrounds and provide medical screening and financial advice to seniors as part of International Day of Good Deed. The day is an initiative that got its start in Israel and was designed to bring together the Jewish community across the world in a day of social action projects.
