Words of wisdom for all from "Hardball" host Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's "Hardball," closed his broadcast by repeating for everyone the words of advice he had earlier presented to Temple graduates at the university's 124th Commencement Exercises. Matthews thanked Ann Weaver Hart, president of Temple, "a fine, booming university," for providing students with wallet-sized cards carrying his advice. It's advice gathered, he says, "watching politicians close up for decades, 'watching I said,' paying sharp attention to how they get where they get, into high positions of power and leadership."
