As part of Temple’s continuing celebration of staff members who have recently been inducted into the Twenty Year Club, Jim Degnan reflects on his 35 years at Temple. Degnan is now the senior director of the Measurement and Research Center.

“We're responsible for a lot of the survey and attitude pulses about students and student feedback forms,” he said. “We believe in assessment, we believe in using assessment for good, for personal improvement, because that's how everything happens.”

Looking back on his time at Temple, from starting out working on his dissertation to now overseeing the Offices of Institutional Research and Measurement Research, Degnan sums up his experience by simply saying, “I’m just happy to be here.”
