Fox study attracts national and international attention

Research from the Fox School of Business suggesting that the driving service Uber reduces the number of drinking and driving deaths has been recognized in national and international media.

A study recently conducted by researchers at the Fox School of Business suggests that the driving service Uber has reduced the number of drinking and driving deaths in California. Now this research has received attention from both national and international media outlets, including Newsweek, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Fox News, Tech Times and Canada’s CBC News and La Presse.

Fox School of Business Management Information Systems Professors Brad Greenwood and Sunil Wattal conducted the study, titled Show Me the Way to Go Home: An Empirical Investigation of Ride Sharing and Alcohol Related Motor Vehicle Homicide. The working paper is currently under review for publication.
