You’re graduating, now what? Just because you’re leaving the nest doesn’t mean Temple isn’t still going to have your back! As grads, you’re officially part of the Temple University Alumni Association (TUAA). Whether you’re looking for career-launching opportunities, ways to network with fellow Owls, a chance to show your Temple pride or just want to stay in shape, you’ll find everything you need, thanks to Temple’s abundant alumni resources.

Career services after graduation
You may have used Temple’s many career resources as a student, but so many of these resources are still available to you after graduation. Through the career center, recent grads can explore jobs, connect with fellow alumni and even develop personal brands. What’s more: These career services and coaching are available five years after graduation!

Don’t forget about Handshake. That’s right, Temple’s job and internship portal—the one you used as a student—is still available to alumni. Employers looking for recent graduates will post opportunities there, making it an ideal place to look for jobs.

Additionally, the Temple Professional Network (TPN) provides support at all career stages, for all alumni. Through TPN, you have access to exclusive job search tools, resources and events to help you accelerate your career. Sign up for the TPN Newsletter to have this career support delivered directly to your inbox.

Need more support? Temple grads can create accounts on the following platforms.

Jobscan (Optimize your job applications to get past resume robots.)

CareerShift (Find and store job listings.)

Big Interview (Practice and perfect your interviewing skills virtually.)

You can also make an appointment with a career coach to help you identify your goals and create a realistic plan to achieve it. Score!

Connecting with other alumni
With thousands of students joining the ranks of our alumni every year, opportunities to network abound among Temple’s flock, and it’s easier than ever for us all to stay connected with one another.

Affinity Networks encourage alumni to unite based on shared interests or experiences: You’ll find everything from the Temple Women’s Network and the Temple University Black Alumni Alliance to the Temple University Young Alumni Association.

Regardless of where you call home after graduation, you can find Temple alumni to connect with through regional networks. You know what they say: Owls are everywhere!

Campus access
DYK? With a Temple alumni card, you can retain access to library resources, Campus Rec, university online resources and more.

Charles Library remains accessible to all alumni with an alumni card. Your card enables library database access and the ability to check out materials. You can also consult with Temple’s librarians and access archives! Find more information.

Through TUportal, alumni retain access to many of Temple’s online and software resources, including Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud and your Temple email, for one year after you graduate!

Campus Rec keeps your healthy lifestyle on track by offering cost-effective memberships for alumni, spanning from single semester, summer or annual access.

Last, but not least, finances
iGrad, a free online resource, is your go-to for financial wellness. It provides tools and techniques for you to make informed financial decisions when dealing with budgeting, banking, credit card management and financial goals. Use this financial literacy platform as you navigate your financial journey and plan for the future.

Stay in the loop
As you launch your post-grad life, remember to keep Temple informed about where you land.

By keeping your contact information up to date, you’ll be among the first to hear about valuable alumni resources and exciting opportunities to connect with fellow Owls.

You can share your Temple memories, career highlights and more with the alumni and donor news center, Temple Beyond, and stay inspired by learning what your fellow alumni are up to. Follow @TempleAlumni on Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram to stay in-the-know.

Finally, don’t be a stranger. Be sure to check out one of the many in-person or virtual events that TUAA hosts throughout the year, including the Homecoming and Family Weekend and Temple Made Days.
