"The King's Speech" wins approval from speech pathologists and patients

"The King's Speech" has won both critical acclaim and the Oscar for Best Picture, but it's also speaking to millions of Americans struggling with their own speech disorders. At Temple's Speech Language and Hearing Center, speech pathologist Kim Sabourin says they have received an influx of calls since the movie's release and that it has helped those who don't stutter know what to do for someone who does. "It's bringing stuttering out into the open and creating more awareness."
