Site preserves history of fight for rights for the intellectually disabled

Visionary Voices, a new site launched recently by Temple’s Institute on Disabilities, chronicles the intellectual disabilities movement that led to the Right to Education Case and opened Pennsylvania's schools to children with disabilities. Other hard-won battles chronicled on the site include deinstitutionalization and the movement toward self-determination for individuals with disabilities.

New web site for Temple news set to launch

Next month, the Office of University Communications will publicly launch a redesigned news web site featuring Temple's academic achievements, research findings, community service and arts and cultural activities. While parts of the project are being finalized, members of the Temple community can preview the site before the new link is publicized to the broader community.
