Kathy Coyle: September 18, 2007

Kathy Coyle, associate professor of therapeutic recreation in the College of Health Professions, was awarded the 2007 Scholar Award by the American Therapeutic Recreation Association in recognition of her accomplishments for her research on women with physical disabilities, which was cited in the 2005 “U.S. Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Improve the Health and Wellness of Persons with Disabilities,” and her mentoring of graduate students as co-authors on several refereed journal publications.
