Larry Dougherty, associate director for athletic communications, was named the 56th President of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) at the organization's annual convention in San Francisco, Calif. Dougherty also received the CoSIDA 25-year service award at the convention and becomes just the second athletic communications director from a Philadelphia area school to serve as CoSIDA president.
