Some experts believe that Toyota's slump in sales will recover and the company's current crisis will fade in the public's memory, blending with many other product recalls in recent history. "Management will correct the problem. Toyota Motors' sales will bounce back; most consumers will soon forget this latest news cycle and remember why they bought the Camry, the Corolla, and the Prius," said Paul Scalise of Temple University, Japan Campus, in a Devin Stewart essay.

More than 500 of Philadelphia's brightest public, parochial, private and charter school students took part in the 31st annual George Washington Carver Science Fair at Temple. "Sometimes it's partial scholarships; sometimes it's something that can help them out to continue to foster their scientific exploration."

The Temple men’s basketball team, ranked at no. 17, is getting ready to pursue yet another Atlantic Ten Conference crown for Owls coach Fran Dunphy, who was named A-10 coach of the year Sunday. Yesterday, Dunphy was named as a finalist for the Jim Phelan National Coach of the Year Award. But the coach is willing to chill in the background as the Owls return to national prominence. "It's about the kids, this program, what Temple University represents," Dunphy said. "That's where the focus should be. It's where it should always be."
