Beverly Coleman connects with the community and makes a difference

As Temple's assistant vice president of community relations and economic development, Beverly Coleman serves as an integral link between the institution and its surrounding neighborhoods. Coleman regards her position at Temple as an opportunity for her to make a difference. "I think that the relationship that Temple has with its communities is very important and relationships with communities are something that universities work at. I think that what Temple brings in Philadelphia is a real spirit of giving, a real spirit of volunteerism and of connecting with the community where the community is."
