State-related universities are "economic engines" for Pennsylvania

In an opinion piece, Temple President Ann Weaver Hart and the presidents of Penn State, Pitt and Lincoln explained how state-related universities are "economic engines" for Pennsylvania. "Ask most experts about ways to end the economic recession and job creation tops the list, followed closely by quality education and investment opportunities," they wrote. "If so, Pennsylvania's state-related institutions of higher learning may prove more valuable than ever."
