At Temple's Student Center, 60 students gathered to watch President Obama's acceptance speech on the big screen. "I am fired up and ready to go," said sophomore Dylan Morpurgo of Temple's College Democrats. Drawing some of the biggest cheers in the crowd, were references to student loans. "I really, really appreciated the fact that he referenced a lot of people having to throw away acceptance letters because of the fact that they wouldn't be able to afford the schools in the first place," said junior Danube Johnson.
