As tragic concussion and dehydration cases have raised the profile of those conditions, Temple University athletic trainers have made a priority of tending bumped heads and nagging football players to drink water. Before each practice, head trainer Dwight Stansbury along with three other full-time trainers and seven students soothe the previous day's sprains, strains and bruises in 105 players. "In athletics, especially in football, everybody's looking for a way to keep their kids healthy," he said.
