Temple will honor longtime sports information director Al Shrier at its Jan. 23 basketball game against Penn. Shrier has worked for the Owls for nearly 60 years. “He graduated from Temple in 1953 and never left, dedicating his life to promoting what is positive in college athletics and in particular Temple student-athletes and coaches,” said athletic director Bill Bradshaw.
