Perseverance and grit: the life and legacy of Cecil B. Moore

One of Philadelphia’s leading civil rights activists, as well as a gifted attorney and a former Marine, Cecil B. Moore fought for African Americans to have the same rights as their white neighbors and is the namesake of the university’s Cecil B. Moore Scholars Program.
