Temple med school showcases new artwork

Temple's School of Medicine in North Philadelphia recently showcased 55 huge sculptures of bacteria found in the body. The brightly colored sculptures, aptly named "The Unseen World" hang suspended from the ceiling in the atrium of the Medical Education and Research Building.

The Times Herald featured a photo gallery of Paul V. Fly kindergarten students making healthy snacks during a nutrition program at the school, led by Gabriella Rovito, a public health master's student at Temple. The students grated carrots, cut red peppers, spread hummus and added some spinach leaves to a wrap while learning about the benefits of healthy foods to eat.
