As part of TUready, Temple's emergency preparedness program, the Main Campus emergency siren will be tested today, Sept. 18, rescheduled for 10 a.m. TUsiren and TUalert are critical components of Temple's TUready emergency notification system. Today's test will include two three-minute siren activations and initiation of the TUalert system. The TUalert will include a voice and text message to all registered cellphones and email notification to all Temple accounts.

Temple University Police found a man shot at Germantown and Tioga near Temple University Hospital at approximately 2:30 am on November 6th. The non-Temple related victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Police are looking for an African-American male in his mid 20s wearing a white and black Nike hooded sweatshirt.

Temple University Police are investigating an assault and robbery against a faculty member that took place about 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday 10/29 in Anderson Hall. The suspect is described as an African American male, 6 feet tall, wearing tan pants and a tan shirt. Anyone with information should contact Campus Police at ext. 1-1234.

The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a home invasion and robbery involving Temple students off campus in the 1800 block of North 18th street.

At approximately 11:45am today a Temple student reported being robbed near the 1400 block of Diamond Street. Philadelphia and Temple Police began investigating the robbery and have since arrested a suspect fitting the description of the offender and recovered a weapon believed to be used in the incident. There is increased police activity and media responding to the scene of the incident. Please avoid the area of Broad and Dauphin streets. Anyone with information should immediately call 911.

Philadelphia and Temple Police are investigating a shooting which took place just after 10 pm at the intersection of 11th and Norris streets, adjacent to campus. A 10-year-old child was shot in the leg and has been hospitalized. The suspect is a black male wearing a blue and white sweatsuit last seen going north on Marvine. Anyone with information should immediately call 911.

Temple University Police and Philadelphia Police are investigating a robbery and assault of a Temple student that occurred in the 1400 Block of West Diamond Street at approximately 10:15 a.m. today. An iPhone was taken when two unknown males struck the student in the eye then fled east on Diamond Street.

Philadelphia Police are investigating an incident that occurred about 11:10 a.m. today (April 12) in the area near Broad and Oxford Streets. The area is safe, however we ask that you avoid this location because of the increased police activity due to their investigation.
Reports indicate that a Temple student was struck by a vehicle and has been transported to the hospital. The student is in good condition.
