Wearing white Temple t-shirts, the crowd united in pride at Temple's first-ever whiteout game against Xavier, Feb. 11, 2012, at the Liacouras Center.

Excitement is building for the men’s basketball team’s regular-season finale—the annual “whiteout” game. The Owls will take on defending national champion University of Connecticut at the Liacouras Center on Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are now available for this critical game, the Owls’ final opportunity to build their NCAA tournament resume before the American Athletic Conference tournament begins the following week.

Adding to the buzz at the game will be Senior Day festivities, the distribution of free white T-shirts and the Temple Owl Club’s Silent Auction, held on the main concourse of the Liacouras Center prior to the game.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. on game day; the Liacouras Box Office will open at 11 a.m. However, tickets are best purchased in advance.

The game will also be nationally televised on ESPN2 and broadcast on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.
