Temple researchers link bacterial biofilms to lupus

New research from the Temple University School of Medicine determined that bacterial communities, or biofilm, may play a role in the development of lupus.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the body. Now a research team at the Temple University School of Medicine may be closer to determining a cause.
