Temple’s School of Medicine: Breakthroughs and milestones
This Oct. 13, Temple University School of Medicine will celebrate a new chapter in its history. To honor a lifetime of service, the school will be named in honor of Temple University trustee and lifetime supporter the late Lewis Katz, CST ’63. In his award-winning Commencement address, Katz characterized Temple with three words—recognized, respected, and loved—and all three apply to its School of Medicine as well.
Take a look back at some of the more recent groundbreaking achievements and national headlines our School of Medicine has made. To learn more about the Medical School and the upcoming naming ceremony, visit temple.edu/katz.
