Temple-led study finds dip could help children eat more vegetables

A study led by Jennifer Orlet Fisher, director of the Family Eating Laboratory at Temple's Center for Obesity Research and Education, has found that adding 2.5 ounces of ranch dressing as a dip to a serving of vegetables helped bitter-sensitive children eat more of them.

The Center for Obesity Research and Education (CORE) hosted Deputy Mayor of Health Donald Schwarz and Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown today as they signed into law a bill that will require all chain restaurants in Philadelphia to display the nutritional information of their food on its menus.
