A new juice bar opened in the Broad Street atrium of the newly renovated Pearson-McGonigle Hall offers a variety of menu options, including smoothies, blended juices, sandwiches and wraps. Operated by University Dining Services, the shop will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on evenings and weekends when women’s basketball games are played in McGonigle Hall.

At a ceremony yesterday attended by Board of Trustees members, senior officials and invited guests, the university honored Mitchell Morgan and his wife Hilarie by naming Temple’s new residence hall under construction at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue in their honor.

A new rock climbing wall in the renovated Pearson-McGonigle complex's glass-enclosed atrium has been met with excitement among Temple students and staff. The 28-foot wall offers a variety of climbing features designed to satisfy both beginning and advanced climbers.
Capital construction projects underway as part of Temple’s 20/20 framework for campus development made significant progress this summer, with each in a different phase of development.
Workers hoisted a final beam into place on the steel frame of Mitchell and Hilarie Morgan Hall Wednesday, topping out the residential complex and marking a new milestone in the transformation of the Philadelphia skyline along North Broad Street.
Temple's newest residential complex will be named for Board of Trustees member Mitchell L. Morgan and his wife, Hilarie, to recognize a lifetime of support for the university.
Temple’s 20/20 framework for campus development is coming swiftly into focus, with several major projects reaching milestones this semester. Among the signs of progress are the opening of the new Architecture Building, nearly completed renovations to the Pearson-McGonigle recreation center, construction of the first floors of the new student residence complex at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue and the impending start of work on a new Science Education and Research Center.
The Department of Architecture, which has shared space in the College of Engineering since the 1970s, recently moved into a new dedicated building on 13th Street, creating a win-win for faculty and students in both disciplines.

Temple men's basketball team held its first official practice in new state-of-the-art practice space in Pearson-McGonigle Hall, which is undergoing a $58 million renovation to be completed in March as part of the university's 20/20 framework for campus development.
