As enrollment challenges continue to impact universities and colleges across the Northeast, Temple University is working to ensure that the university remains on a sustainable path moving forward.
While contract negotiations are often thought to be fraught and contentious, they are more often than not a routine and methodical process guided by legal guardrails.
The negotiating team, comprising labor and employment professionals, and faculty members with decades of experience at Temple, has the requisite skills and expertise to address the issues on the table.
The extension offer from Temple University would result in all full-time faculty members receiving raises of up to 5%. There would also be a 12% increase to the minimum rate for adjunct faculty.
Temple’s College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) has received this grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education to address the racial and ethnic disparities in educators across the commonwealth.
