Alleged corruption continues to rock the Camden police department. Five more criminals are walking free after courts suddenly overturned their sentences. They’re just part of a growing number of drug convictions now thrown out of court in the wake of an FBI investigation targeting four Camden officers. Temple Law Professor Edward Ohlbaum said it’s a case that can shatter public trust. “On the one hand you may have innocent people who are in jail as a result of the corruption. Secondly, you may have guilty people who deserve to be in jail who go free,” Ohlbaum said.
