Jamira Burley, FOX '12, grew up surrounded by drugs and violence, but she made a decision to travel a different path. The first of 16 siblings to graduate from high school and college, Burley served as executive director of the Philadelphia Youth Commission shortly after receiving dual degrees in international business and legal studies.
