Diamond Marching Band invited to perform at 2014 London New Year’s celebration

The Diamond Marching Band has been invited to perform as part of the 2014 London New Year’s Day Celebration and Festival, an event viewed by a worldwide television audience of some 220 million people and attended by more than half a million spectators. Former Lord Mayor of Westminster Catherine Longworth extended the invitation during the band's afternoon rehearsal on Friday.

Stroke couldn't stop Boyer dance professor from teaching, choreography, drawing

In 2008, a stroke left Boyer dance professor Philip Grosser unable to read, write or speak — so he turned to drawing. After intensive speech therapy, Grosser was able to return to choreography and teaching, and now he has published a new book of art.

LEVYdance trains Boyer students for new production

Students in the Boyer College of Music and Dance will have an opportunity to audition for the local premiere of ROMP, a full dance production that allows the audience to become totally immersed in the performance. The company’s begins a week-long residence at Temple this week, with a performance on Feb. 10 in Conwell Dance Theater.
