For every one of the colorful shirts they sell, they donate fruit to children in Philadelphia. It was an idea born while urban gardening with local kids—and it is the kind of student-born idea that is seeded and nourished every day at Temple.

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the Temple Made student profile series introduces you to Temple Veterans Association (TVA) President Silas Adams, an active duty Marine for eight years with two tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. It's not easy reintegrating into a college setting after serving overseas.

Last week, more than 30 mayors and dozens of other top elected officials attended the Mayors’ Innovation Summit, hosted by the City of Philadelphia, Temple University’s Fox School of Business and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. At the summit, mayors and panelists shared ideas on how civic innovation can increase citizen engagement, promote open government and improve services.

Fox Online MBA ranks fourth in U.S. News Best Online Business Programs for Veterans

The online MBA program at Temple University’s Fox School of Business has been ranked fourth nationally in the inaugural ranking of Best Online Graduate Business Programs for Veterans by U.S. News and World Report. Of the 29 business schools ranked, the Fox School is the only one from the Philadelphia region.
