A native of Poland, Katarzyna Tomasik chose Temple for its reputation for multiculturalism. But when she arrived on Main Campus, she felt like she had been plopped headfirst into unfamiliar territory. To connect with other international students, she joined Temple's International Student Association, and eventually became the group's president.
