At the Fox School of Business's Musser Awards dinner Wednesday, 20 School of Tourism and Hospitality Management sophomores competing for a single $10,000 scholarship learned that the prize had been increased to $12,000, and that each would be awarded that amount. Temple creates new scholarship program for North Philadelphia students

Temple has created 250 four-year scholarships to be awarded over 10 years to students in the North Philadelphia neighborhoods surrounding Main Campus. Temple President Ann Weaver Hart celebrated the 2011 20/20 scholarship recipients at an awards ceremony yesterday with Mayor Michael Nutter and other elected officials.
